Pause. So now Chris Brown’s singing/rapping about weed too?! Ughhhh…he tends to have some great tunes, I can’t deny that, but he’s such an over kill too. I took out my nose piercing right when he got it. And now he’s doing music about weed… I can’t compromise that though lmao.
Here’s the thing - it’s commercializing at its finest. Now all the wee lil Breezy fans are gonna follow in the footsteps of their high and mighty joker that be C Brown. He needs to realize his fan base is young… I still look at him as a young adult/teenager. It’s a different situation from Wiz rapping about weed…cuz he’s been doing it for a while; it’s like what he does. Wiz and weed have to fit in the same sentence; there is no Wiz without weed. It’s genuine. Chris Brown’s just hopping on the bandwagon. It’s the “it” thing to do now; it’s what’s hip and alternative and unique and oo goody you’re so nonchalant and don’t give a fuck about anything! Man. Get that shit out of here.

That’s one way to look at it. The other way: power to the green curren$$y. People are hopefully starting to realize how mentally stimulating, how physically soothing, how emotionally calming weed can be. My only issue with this Chris Brown thing is that it’s become so MAINSTREAM (potentially top 10 words I absolutely despise from the bottom pit of my asshole). Would he rap/sing about it if it wasn’t the new “thing” to do? Probably not.
